Ryland King
Founder and Executive Director
Ryland is a second year UCSB student majoring in Environmental Science. He founded EENG after witnessing the positive impacts college students can have on elementary school children as a part of the Environmental Affairs Board's youth education program. He now dedicates his time to expanding our program to reach as many children as possible. Ryland is a passionate surfer and devoted educator.

Nick Allen
Director of Business Development
Nick is a fourth year double major in Environmental Studies and Business Economics, with a minor in Professional Writing for Business Communication. He currently chairs UCSB's Environmental Affairs Board, and is a passionate activist for climate solutions. In 2009, Nick co-authored US Electricity Policy 2009, an extensive report documenting the economic, social, and environmental case for renewable energy. He was awarded Associated Students Project of the Year for the report. In the winter of 2009, Nick organized and fundraised to bring twelve students to Copenhagen, Denmark, to observe the international climate deliberations at the UN Climate Conference.

Teal Reige
Director of Education
Teal is a third year Ecology major with a minor in Education. She has led UCSB’s Environmental Affairs Board's Environmental Education program for the past three years, and was instrumental in the development of EENG's 24 interactive lesson plans. Teal works closely with children, teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure an enriching educational environment.

Tanya Heravian
Director of Operations
Tanya is a second year double major in Environmental Studies and Global Studies. She is actively leading our outreach to new schools to expand the program throughout Santa Barbara. Last year she volunteered in one of the classrooms and truly enjoyed working interactively with the students. Tanya has a passion for traveling and is hoping to visit South America this summer to teach environmental education to children. When she is not traveling or studying she loves to snowboard.

Vanessa Duenas
Assistant Director of Operations
Vanessa is a second year double major in Environmental Studies and Communication. She is currently leading the lesson revising process to ensure EENG's lesson plans have the greatest impact on our next generation of leaders. Vanessa loves working with children, and aspires to become an elementary school teacher. She has taken part in professional Polynesian dancing for several years and now teaches students at UCSB.

Andrew Notohamiprodjo
Website Director
Andrew is a fourth year Environmental Science major with a minor in Education and certification for Technology Management. He is responsible for the development and maintenance of our website and publications. Andrew is a student supervisor for UCSB’s Polynesian dance club and has been teaching youth dance for the past two years. He is a passionate dancer and runner, and recently completed his first half marathon.
