about

EENG has developed distinct 8-week units for the 1st and 2nd grades. Lessons build upon concepts each week, providing environmental insight that aligns closely with the California State Board of Education’s Content Standards. We offer our weekly program in units starting in Fall, Winter, or Spring, and are glad to work with teachers’ schedules to make lesson integration as smooth as possible.

Each lesson is 1 hour long and follows a system of teaching called Flow Learning:

Awaken Enthusiasm - Students are introduced to the topic through a captivating introductory demonstration.
Focus Attention - Students break into small groups and engage in an interactive discussion with their instructor and classmates.
Direct Experience - Students interact through hands-on projects, experiments, and activities.
Share Inspiration - Students write what they learned in their Journal and share what they learned with all their classmates.

Topics covered include:
• Sprouting Seeds
• The Importance of Bees
• The Food Web
• Soil Science
• Renewable Energy
• And many more!

We are proud to offer our services and all necessary supplies completely free of charge. For more information about our curriculum and all that EENG has to offer, please contact us a info@eengonline.org.
